If you’re a single agent or part of a team a lot of your success will be a result of the level of accountability you put on yourself. In sales, you cannot be successful if you don’t hold yourself accountable. Whether it’s the process itself, the clients, or what you do with your time; you need to be accountable.
The Process:
Depending on your situation you may be the only salesperson or you may be one of many salespeople. This doesn’t change your accountability in the sales process. You are responsible for ensuring that the process is performed they way it was designed and work towards making it successful.
The Clients:
The clients depend on you for your knowledge, expertise and guidance, while you depend on the clients for your survival. When you hold yourself accountable you have a greater respect for the client. You need to have this respect if you’re going to be successful!
Your Time:
Your time is so valuable in sales. You cannot waste it! Make sure that you are spending your time wisely in areas that will help you grow and generate business. These two areas are what will make you and your business successful!
